If there is a gear not miss in your training, is the stability ball. The market comes with new training tools every now and then. Still not sure if they work and are safe. So for one that is guaranteed to work, use the stability ball.

What is a stability ball?

This is a big inflatable ball and used as sports equipment. Although air-filled, it is generally heavy and can hold 600-700 pounds of weight. E ‘comfortable and offers good support. It fits with the trainee as easily goes with the structure of the body.

The use of stability balls for training can be traced in rehabilitation. Already in 1900 the physiotherapists have used the balls to deal with neurological disorders of their patients.

Then in the early 1960’s, Aquilino Cosan, an Italian manufacturer of toys, has the ball and sold it, then known as the ‘Gymnastik.’ Two decades later, Cosan came up with a company called Gymnich and has become the main supplier of the stability ball to rehabilitation programs and most of the centers.

The ball then shifted from rehabilitation to the athletic area, in the 90’s. E ‘was used to condition the body of professional athletes. From then on, the ball has become very important in the community fitness.

At present medical specialists and fitness professionals highly recommend the use of the ball stability of the public. Serves more than solving physical problems. And ‘well prevent having one.
